The last rays of sun are hiding behind the horizon and the pond is still and silent. The nature is preparing for the night and, walking towards the pavilion, the only perceivable sound is the slight creaking of the wooden boards that barely flex as I’m passing. The gentle breeze brings to me the delicate smell of the grove and the peaceful sensation that I feel in this instant frees my mind from any anxiety and lighten me.

This is the second HDR blending of three long exposures, taken in this beautiful park in Nara. I used the smc DA 15mm F4 ED AL Limited wide lens and, as for the last shot, I paid attention to keeping the colors and the light as close to reality as possible.
