A light-up event in a Momiji grove, on the southern side of lake Yamanaka, represented a perfect condition to take a moody shot of the colors of Momiji leaves.

In autumn the leaves of Momiji trees, or japanese maple trees, change color turning into flaming red during the peak days of the season. The spotlights arranged below the trees, pointing to the branches, created a magical atmosphere: many flat-shaped clouds were popping out from the darkness, in an glow of otherworldly vibrant red.
